Kelly Agazzi – CLKD employee for 32 years

January 14, 2022 by

My youngest sister was born with Down’s Syndrome, and my parents worked tirelessly to ensure that Amy saw the world as a wonderful place with endless possibilities.  She lived a beautiful life filled with choices for work, recreation, spirituality, and love from family and friends (lots of friends!)  She was happy, and so proud of her many accomplishments.

I was initially drawn to apply to this organization, as their philosophy and values matched my family’s support of Amy in her life.  Every day I witness my diverse group of coworkers truly listening to what people want.  Each person’s goals are used as the guide in our work to promote true belonging and inclusion in the pursuit of assisting them to live their best life.

Many things have changed over the course of my career, but what keeps me with Community Living Kingston and District, is that our philosophy and mission has only grown stronger with time.  I am very proud of the work of this organization.
