Community services provides support to adults with an intellectual disability so that they can live independently. Most people rent their own apartment and can be assisted in all areas associated with independent living. Supports are provided on an individualized basis, so that we can customize the help required.
Our team will shape the supports offered based on individual needs and preferences. Supports are designed to focus on activities of daily living while promoting autonomy and independence.
The frequency of support is customized and can range from multiple daily contacts to weekly, biweekly or check-ins only as needed.
“Being part of Community Living has given me the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and go to events. My support workers help me live independently and I am very happy with my life”
